I never made it to the grocery store this week, and since today was the final day of the current ads, I decided to do a Hail Mary and see what I could do this afternoon. I had a FREE Milk Catalina from Albertsons that was going to expire, along with another $4 in Albertsons Catalinas that needed to be used. I wasn’t all that impressed with the Albertsons ad this week, but I wasn’t about to burn my FREE Milk or my CATS!
I’m so glad I went! I paid $4.94 out of pocket for everything in this picture! Guess how much the Tylenol Precise was? FIVE DOLLARS! I was very excited to find this because my Walgreens was wiped clean, and it wouldn’t do me any good to get a rain check since the coupon is only good for a week. I just so happened to have (7) of the $5/1 coupons, so all of these were completely FREE! My cashier didn’t scan my FREE Milk Catalina, so I didn’t get the overage on it, but I still got one gallon for FREE. The donuts were on sale for $2, and considering we had a full-on melt down at my house this morning over not having any, I figured it would suit me well to buy a bag and put them away. In the end, I Paid $4.94 and saved $79.41 or 94%! What a FUN TRIP!
*I’m not sure if the sale on the Tylenol Precise ends tonight or not, but it may be worth it to check tomorrow.
