I also ran in to CVS today for a few things. (It’s in the same shopping center as my Ralphs and I figured why not!?) I paid $9.89 for all 15 items in the picture… BUT, I SHOULD HAVE ONLY PAID $3.89!
Next time you’re in CVS, be sure to look for a display box of the 3oz Vaseline lotions in the cosmetics area. These are priced at only $0.99 Each (regular price) and there’s a $1/1 coupon available ($1/1 Vaseline Total Moisture, Aloe Fresh or Cocoa Radiant, exp. 2/26/12 (RP 01/29/12)). I scanned one of them first to be sure they would be FREE, but I didn’t think to scan EACH COLOR (they were all together in the same box)! Unfortunately the YELLOW ones rang up at $2.99 instead of $0.99. I’ll gladly exchange them for the FREE ones, and take my $6 back! (I didn’t catch it in time to exchange it today, plus I was in a hurry.)
Here’s what my transaction looked like:
(6) Vaseline Lotions – $0.99 Each
(3) Vaseline Lotions – $2.99 Each (%&$#@!)
(2) Tilex Mold & Mildew – $1.99 Each
(2) Swiffer Wetjet Refills – $3.99 Each
(2) Colgate Kids Toothpaste – $1.00 Each
Subtotal – $28.87
USED: $4/$20 CVS Coupon
AND: (9) $1/1 Vaseline Coupons
AND: (2) $2/1 Tilex Mold & Mildew (Still in my binder from the FB offer a few weeks back!!!)
AND: (2) #1/1 Swiffer Refill
=$9.89 (should have been $3.89)
I didn’t puchase any of the ECB offers today, and I didn’t pay with any ECBs. I did, however, use my CVS Cash Card that I had leftover from last week, so I didn’t pay anything out of pocket. Once I receive my refund (and exchage for the green or brown ones) my net will be $3.89. According to my receipt, I saved $37.76! I was debating picking up the Purina Beneful, but my store only had (4) bags on the shelf and you need to buy (5) to get the ECB. I may do it when I go back… we’ll see!
