CVS – Money Maker Nivea Tins!

by ocdealmama on January 20, 2013

cvs-money-maker-nivea-tins***UPDATE – this deal is DEAD NOW.  The ECB is no longer printing on the tins***

Here’s an easy way to make $4 at CVS this week, no coupons required!

CVS is running an ECB promotion this week on lotion – Buy (2) Select Nivea, Aveeno, Jergens or Eucerin Products, Get Back $6 ECBs (Limit 1).  The Nivea tins are included in this deal!  Samantha purchased these (2) Nivea Cremes for $1.00 Each and got back her $6 ECB!

***HOWEVER*** – If you already did the Aveeno Deal over the last few weeks 6 times, you won’t be able to do this deal.  You can check your latest CVS receipt for tracking if you aren’t sure – it’s tracking as CUREL and the limit is 12 items.  This same offer has been running for the last several weeks, with minor changes in each ad.  Each ad has said LIMIT 1, but it’s been tracking up to 6 offers, or 12 products.  If your receipt looks like mine above you WILL NOT get your $6 ECB, so don’t race down to the store!  If you haven’t reached your limit…. I’d buy Nivea Creme until you do – it’s a $4 MONEY MAKER!

Be sure to check out the CVS Matchups before you head out!

Thanks, Samantha!

I don’t think so… all the other products included are body & hand lotions & creams so I wouldn’t try any lip products. :)

Wondering , do you have to go 6 days in a row, or ask for 6 different transactions because in the cvs add it says limit one?

Nope! Each ad has said limit 1 each week that it’s run, so my guess is that it’s a 6-week deal that’s been changing up a bit. I did the Aveeno deal a few weeks ago and it said limit 1 and it actually worked for limit 6 (12 items). Since I maxed out my 6 ECB rewards that first week, I can’t do anything else that comes up under this deal. Hope that makes sense?

You can buy a total of 12 products to equal 6 deals, each deal giving you a $6 ECB. You can purchase all 12 in one transaction, but then you will end up getting a $36 ECB. If you want your ECB’s to be in smaller amounts, you would then need to do multiple transactions. 4 products in 1 transaction would give you $12 in ECB’s.

Will this deal work for new couponers? I have never purchased nivea, avenno and curel brands.

Hi! YES… it would have worked or anyone… but I believe that CVS has fixed their systems now so that the ECB isn’t printing anymore.

Looks like CVS has closed the loophole in their system, as the Nivea tins aren’t printing the ECB anymore. I was able to purchase a few yesterday and earned the ECB, but not today.
