Walgreens: FREE Listerine Whitening Rinse!

listerine-whitening-rinseStarting Sunday, Walgreens will have select Listerine Mouthwash 1 Liter and Listerine Whitening Rinse 16oz, on Sale for $3.99.  There will also be a Balance Reward Points offer running on these products – Spend $20, Get 3000 Points (=$3.00).  I ran the numbers (I’m working on the matchups right now) and since Walgreens doesn’t round up we’d need to purchase (6) bottles to get the points.  My buy price for mouthwash is $1.00 or less… and it just doesn’t work out this week.  The best we can do is $1.49 per bottle, and that’s with the nice $2/1 Coupon I found hiding in the zip codes (see below)!

HOWEVER… there is a National Catalina running on Listerine Whitening and it’s active at Walgreens!  FREE Listerine definitely falls in my BUY price!

If you purchase (6) bottles in a single transaction, you will get your 3000 points.  However, you would only get ONE $4 Register Reward.  (You will only get ONE Register Reward back per transaction, whether you purchase 1 or 100 bottles.)  If you want the points, the best you can do is $0.82 per bottle when you combined the offers (using 6, $2 coupons).  It’s a better deal to purchase them one or two at a time and skip the points… FREE IS BEST!

*If you aren’t sure how to change your zip code in Coupons.com after the most recent changes – you need to do it in your PROFILE settings.  If you try to change it on the Local tab (the old way), it won’t stick… and you wont’ find the coupon.  You’ll first need to log in, and then you’ll find your profile settings in the top right corner in a drop box (under your name).
